Job Description
A Sound Engineer is responsible for recording, editing, mixing, and mastering audio to enhance the overall sound quality of an animated film, TV series, or digital production. They ensure that dialogue, sound effects, and music are balanced and clear, contributing to the emotional tone and storytelling of the project.
Job Responsibilities

Record and edit voiceovers, Foley, ambient sound, and sound effects.

Mix dialogue, music, and effects tracks to create a final audio master.

Remove unwanted noise, balance levels, and apply sound design techniques.

Collaborate with directors, animators, and composers to achieve the desired sound.

Sync audio with animation or visuals accurately.

Maintain and manage sound libraries, equipment, and software tools.

Ensure all audio meets broadcast, cinema, or streaming platform standards.
Skill Required

Proficiency with digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Adobe Audition, or Ableton Live.

Strong understanding of acoustics, mixing, equalization, and audio effects.

Ability to troubleshoot audio issues and maintain high sound quality.

Experience working with microphones, audio interfaces, and field recorders.

Good communication and time-management skills.
