Job Description
A Compositor is responsible for seamlessly combining visual elements from various sources into a final image or scene. Working closely with animators, lighting artists, and VFX supervisors, the compositor ensures the final frame looks polished, realistic (or stylistically consistent), and visually cohesive.
Job Responsibilities

Composite 2D and 3D elements, including live-action footage, CGI, matte paintings, and visual effects.

Match color, lighting, and perspective across all visual layers for a unified look.

Apply techniques such as rotoscoping, keying (green/blue screen removal), tracking, and masking.

Enhance shots with effects like glows, shadows, reflections, and motion blur.

Troubleshoot and solve technical and artistic compositing challenges.

Ensure all final output meets quality and delivery standards.
Skill Required

Proficiency in compositing software like Nuke, After Effects, Fusion, or Blackmagic Resolve.

Strong knowledge of color grading, camera lenses, depth of field, and motion.

Understanding of the animation or VFX pipeline.

Excellent eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
